How do I connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network for setup?
Unfortunately, it will not be able to connect if the Wi-Fi is set to 5GHz or to a shared 2.4GHz/5GHz band.
We recommend checking the router settings or contacting their internet service provider to see if a dedicated 2.4GHz network can be enabled. Once connected to the correct network, the vacuum should pair successfully.
Here’s how you can check or enable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi:
Check your Wi-Fi name (SSID) – Sometimes routers label 2.4GHz and 5GHz separately (e.g., “HomeWiFi_2.4G” and “HomeWiFi_5G”). If you see one with “2.4G” in the name, try connecting to that.
Log in to your router’s settings – You can usually do this by entering your router’s IP address (often printed on the back of the router) into your internet browser.
Enable 2.4GHz – Look for Wireless or Network settings and make sure the 2.4GHz band is switched on.
Split the bands – If your router combines 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one name, try giving the 2.4GHz network a unique name so you can select it separately.
Ask your provider for help – If you’re unsure how to adjust these settings, your internet service provider can guide you through it.
Once connected to 2.4GHz, you should be able to set up your robot vacuum without any problems.
