Before plugging in your new Slushie Maker, allow it to stand in an upright position for at least 2 hours before first use or if the Slushie Maker has been moved. This will allow the refrigerant to settle in the compressor and reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
IMPORTANT: Review all warnings at the beginning of this User manual before proceeding.
Fill the tank only to the 1.9L MAX fill line.
Even though the vessel’s total capacity is 2.6L, you should not fill it to the top because the mixture expands as it freezes. Filling above 1.9L can cause overflow and may affect performance.
NOT FREEZING? START HERE
The most common reasons are not enough sugar or too much alcohol.
Minimum sugar guide (must be at least 4% sugar)
Alcohol guidelines
For the Spiked Slush preset, premixed drinks (wine/beer/RTDs) should be 2.8%–16% ABV.
Hard spirits (35%+ ABV) must stay within the maximum limits below.
If your recipe has not reached desired texture after 60 minutes, increase the temperature by one level. Wait 10–15 minutes to test recipe texture. If still not desired, increase by one level again. Repeat until desired texture is achieved.
Most drinks take 15–60 minutes, depending on:
Your ingredients
Batch size (volume)
Starting temperature (pre-chilled mixes are faster)
The thickness level you select
When the drink is ready, the machine beeps and the display shows “END.” The machine will then continue running to keep your drink at the ideal temperature for up to 12 hours, before it automatically turns off.
Soft serve usually won’t thicken when the mix is too low in fat, too warm, or the thickener isn’t fully mixed in. For best results:
Use full cream milk (avoid lite/low-fat).
Add thickened cream if your recipe allows.
If using instant pudding/custard, mix it in completely (make a smooth paste first or use an electric mixer).
Chill the mixture in the fridge for a few hours before pouring it in.
If needed, reduce the temperature slightly (room temperature can affect results).
Soft serve typically reaches the right texture in 40–60 minutes.
SUGAR & ALCOHOL GUIDE
Serving Size | Minimum Total Sugar
240 ml → 8 g
355 ml → 11 g
591 ml → 18 g
Tip: Pre-frozen ingredients can taste sweeter at first, but the sweetness will feel more balanced once it becomes a slush.
Serving Size | Maximum Alcohol (Hard Spirits 35%+ ABV)
3 cups (700 ml) → 1/2 cup (110 ml)
4 1/2 cups (1000 ml) → 3/4 cup (170 ml)
6 cups (1400 ml) → 1 cup (230 ml)
8 cups (1900 ml) → 1 1/4 cups (290 ml)
Not recommended. The freezing process relies on real sugar to reach the required consistency. Sugar-free drinks and artificial sweeteners may not freeze properly and can trigger a low-sugar alert.
Yes. You can make cocktails, wine slushies, and spiked recipes in the Panthera Slushie Machine Pro+, just follow the sugar and alcohol guidelines.
Lower-alcohol options usually work best (e.g., white/rosé wine and premixed RTDs) because they freeze into a stable slush more easily. High-proof spirits don’t freeze well unless kept within the recommended limits.
ERROR CODES (E1–E6)

E1 — Vessel not installed
Fix
With the bail handle up, slide the vessel over the installed auger and evaporator.
Press Power to turn on. You’ll hear 1 beep and the preset will illuminate.

Send to the dealer or a local authorised repair centre for repair/replacement.

INGREDIENTS & RESULTS
Yes. Pre-chilled soda works well. Choose the right preset for your desired texture. Note: carbonated drinks won’t stay fizzy once frozen and mixed.
Remove some liquid/mix so it sits below the MAX fill line before running the preset.
Lower the thickness/density setting (snowflake icon) so it loosens, then dispense. If needed, allow a few minutes for the texture to soften before pouring out.
For a true slush texture, yes. A slushie machine creates a smooth, consistent slush without adding ice and can keep it ready to serve. A blender is fine for quick drinks but often needs ice and can turn watery.
Yes, most plant milks work. For the creamiest result, choose barista-style oat milk or soy milk, and keep your base smooth (no chunks/seeds).
It makes soft-serve style frozen desserts (smooth and creamy), not firm, scoopable ice cream like a traditional freezer-bowl ice cream maker. For classic scoopable ice cream, we recommend the Panthera Ice Cream Machine.
It’s best to blend smooth and strain seeds/pulp to avoid blockages and improve texture.
Yes, but for best results place it in a shaded, well-ventilated area and out of direct sun. Heat can slow freezing, so pre-chill your ingredients.
You can keep it running during the day to keep drinks ready to serve. For overnight use, we recommend turning it off and cleaning/rinsing after use, rather than leaving liquids sitting in the machine for long periods.
Slushies: made from drinks (juice/soda) → icy crystals and a frozen-drink texture.
Soft serve: made from creamy bases (milk/soft-serve mix) → smooth, creamy swirl texture.
DUAL MACHINE FAQs (DUAL Pro+)
Yes. The Panthera Dual Pro+ has two separate tanks with independent preset controls, so you can run Soft Serve in one tank and Slush/Spiked Slush in the other at the same time.
For entertaining, usually yes. Two tanks let you run two flavours or drink types at once and keep options ready for guests. A single tank is great for simpler, smaller batches.
Yes. You can use one tank independently, both tanks do not need to run together.
PRODUCT CARE (MATERIALS & DISHWASHER)
Yes, all Panthera attachments/accessories are BPA free.
Yes, the removable accessories are dishwasher safe, but do not use a heated dry cycle. Note: Do not put the motor/base unit in the dishwasher — wipe it with a damp cloth instead.
Rinse first, then soak with warm soapy water and use a soft brush if needed.
Some slushie syrups contain strong pigments that can bond to the plastic tank over time. This staining is common across slushie machines, is harmless, and does not affect performance or hygiene.
How do I remove the stains?
Warm soapy soak: Fill the tank with warm water + a small amount of dish soap. Soak 10–15 minutes.
Baking soda paste: Apply a baking soda and water paste to stained areas, then gently scrub with a soft sponge/brush.
Vinegar solution (if needed): Soak with equal parts white vinegar + water for 15–20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse well with warm water to remove any residue.
Air dry fully: Let the tank dry completely before the next use.
